Internal Rules and Regulations
HOSTAL MOSCATEL
In accordance with current tourism regulations, these Internal Rules and Regulations are mandatory for all guests and visitors of the establishment. Making a reservation and remaining on the premises implies full acceptance of these rules.
Guests staying at the establishment, during their stay, shall be subject to these regulations, which are considered a binding agreement that must be complied with. Failure to do so entitles Management to exercise its right of admission and continued stay.
REGISTRATION, Admission Document
1-. Prior registration of the guest is an essential requirement for using the accommodation units. Guests must present a valid identification document. Registration of all guests is mandatory under Law 4/2015 of 30 March on the Protection of Public Safety.
2-. Every guest, prior to admission, must complete and sign an admission document stating at least the name, category and registration number of the establishment, the number or identification of the accommodation unit, the number of occupants, meal plan, check-in and check-out dates and, where the contract has been entered into between the guest and the operator of the establishment, the accommodation price.
3-. Registration of minors without their legal guardians is prohibited.
- SCHEDULES
- Check-in is available from 14:00.
- Check-out must be completed before 11:30.
- Late departures may incur additional charges.
- “The guest shall be entitled to occupy the accommodation unit from 12:00 on the first day of the contracted period until 11:30 on the stated departure date. A different arrangement may be individually agreed, in which case it must be recorded in the admission document. However, during periods of maximum occupancy, the hotel may delay making the accommodation unit available to the guest by a period not exceeding two hours.” Art. 15 of Decree 47/2004, of 10 February, on hotel establishments.
- GUEST IDENTIFICATION
- All guests must identify themselves in accordance with current legislation.
- Only persons registered at reception or through the online check-in system may stay at the establishment.
- Access or overnight stays by unregistered persons are strictly prohibited.
- MINORS
- Minors may only stay at the establishment when accompanied by their duly accredited father, mother or legal guardian.
- Minors staying alone or accompanied by persons other than their legal representatives will not be admitted.
- REST AND COEXISTENCE
- The rest and tranquillity of other guests must be respected at all times.
- Parties or gatherings in the rooms are strictly prohibited.
- Playing music through mobile phones, wireless speakers, computers or any other device that may cause disturbance is prohibited.
- Respectful behaviour towards other guests, neighbours and staff must be maintained at all times.
- ROOM OCCUPANCY
- The number of occupants may not exceed the number stated in the booking.
- Each room has a maximum capacity that must be respected at all times.
- Failure to comply with this rule may result in the immediate termination of the stay.
- NO SMOKING POLICY
- Smoking is prohibited in rooms, bathrooms, indoor common areas and any other area of the establishment.
- Failure to comply with this rule may result in the immediate termination of the stay.
- PETS
At Hostal Moscatel we understand that pets are part of the family and we will be happy to welcome them provided the following rules are observed:
- Only one pet per room is permitted.
- Only domestic dogs and cats weighing up to 10 kg will be accepted.
- Exotic pets are not permitted, including but not limited to reptiles, birds, rodents, arachnids, wild animals or any species not commonly considered a domestic companion animal.
A pet supplement per night will apply, in accordance with the rates in effect at the time of booking.
Owners are responsible at all times for their pet’s behaviour, as well as for any damage, deterioration, extraordinary cleaning or harm caused to the establishment, other guests or third parties.
Pets must remain under the supervision of their owners at all times and may not be left alone in the room under any circumstances.
Out of respect for the rest and wellbeing of other guests:
- Pets must be kept under control in common areas.
- Animals displaying aggressive behaviour or causing repeated disturbance will not be admitted.
- If a pet barks, meows or makes noises that disturb other guests, the establishment may require the immediate adoption of corrective measures.
The following are expressly prohibited:
- Using beds, bed linen, towels, blankets, pillows or any other establishment equipment for the use of pets.
- Bathing, grooming or brushing pets in the room bathrooms or showers.
- Leaving electrical appliances designed for the care, feeding or monitoring of pets connected when the animals are left unsupervised.
At check-in, the establishment may request the pet’s up-to-date vaccination record or documentation.
The establishment reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay, without the right to a refund, when these rules are not observed or when the pet causes disturbance, security risks or damage to the facilities, as this is considered an essential condition of the reservation accepted by the guest.
- CLEANING AND LINEN CHANGE
In order to optimise the use of water, energy and laundry products, the establishment applies the following service frequencies:
- Towel change every 2 days.
- Bed linen change every 4 days.
Guests who wish additional changes may request them at reception, with the following supplements applying:
- Extra double bed linen change: €10 per change.
- Extra single bed linen change: €8 per bed per change.
These amounts may be charged to the room account or paid directly at reception.
- PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- The establishment accepts no responsibility for money, jewellery, documents or valuables left in rooms or common areas.
- Each guest is responsible for the safekeeping of their own belongings.
- DAMAGE TO THE FACILITIES
- Guests will be financially liable for damage caused by themselves or their companions.
- The establishment may claim the cost of any repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning required.
- SAFETY
- Tampering with safety equipment, alarms, fire extinguishers or technical installations is strictly prohibited.
- Corridors, access points and emergency exits must remain clear of obstacles at all times.
- For safety and fire prevention reasons, smoking is prohibited in rooms, bathrooms, indoor common areas and any other part of the establishment.
- The use of irons, hotplates, immersion heaters, portable heaters or any other heat-generating appliance not provided by the establishment is not permitted.
- The use of multi-socket adapters, extension leads, power strips or any device intended to increase the number of available electrical connections in the room is not permitted.
- High-consumption electrical appliances not intended for standard use in tourist accommodation may not be connected.
- Charging or storing electric scooters, electric bicycles, high-capacity lithium batteries or any other device that, in the opinion of Management, may pose a safety risk to the establishment is prohibited in the rooms.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in the immediate removal of the device, termination of the stay without the right to a refund and, where applicable, a claim for damages.
- RIGHT OF ADMISSION AND REMOVAL
Management may require the immediate departure from the establishment, without the right to a refund of amounts paid and without prejudice to any legal action that may apply, when a guest:
- Fails to comply with these Regulations.
- Causes disturbance to other guests.
- Displays aggressive, offensive or antisocial behaviour.
- Accommodates unregistered persons.
- Causes damage to the facilities.
- Fails to comply with safety rules.
- Engages in unlawful activities or activities contrary to current legislation.
- ACCEPTANCE OF REGULATIONS
Staying at the establishment implies acceptance of and compliance with these Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as the applicable General Terms and Conditions.
